Using clay and glaze, Palacios focuses on the traditional form of a vessel. With the gusto of experimentation, multiple glazing techniques fired at varying temperatures result in dynamic textures and layers of vibrant colors. Palacios vessels are an exciting confluence of skill and knowledge of ceramic processes, raw naturalistic improvisation and formalist esthetics.
